Dear Parents and Families,
I am pleased to share some news with you. But first, thank you for being very welcoming and supportive to our new staff…and our new Headmaster appreciates it too!
- Read on about two teachers who have been recognized for their additional support and responsibilities,
- we need adults to help with our Little Lights after school program,
- we have a date for a very important parent meeting in October.
Continue to enjoy the Fall season and I hope to see you as the year moves along!
God bless you and your families!
John V. Mundy
SAVE the DATE for Thursday, October 12, 2017. Mr. Middleton and Mr. Mundy will give a “State of the School” address and talk about “Unleashing the Holy Spirit” so that all of us embrace new opportunities in 2017-2018.
Mrs. Jackie Lenox has been named Academic Dean. She will assist the Headmaster and faculty in many ways, especially in the further development our Catholic Classical curriculum, planning, organizing, and leading our school. When the Headmaster is not in the building, she is responsible for the school.
Mrs. Lenox has been a teacher for 29 years, six of which are with our Academy. Her hiring was a gift by Mr. Patterson, a gift that keeps on giving!
Lower School Coordinator
Mrs. Jennifer Tisosky has been assisting with school organization matters for several years. Specifically, she has worked with the master schedule for teachers and students, and has done an exceptional job ordering all textbooks and materials. Like Mrs. Lenox, she will promote our Catholic Classical education in the Lower School. She has been teaching for 20 years, and we have been blessed to have her at our Academy for six years.
Help is needed for our Little Lights after school program
We need a few adults or high school students to work along-side our teachers with our younger children after school. There are positions available for volunteers, as well as paid positions. If you like children, this is a wonderful opportunity to serve and help our youngsters. Act quickly if interested. Please call John Mundy, Headmaster for information at 215-801-0342.
