Welcome back! I hope that your summer has been a good one and that everyone is ready to go! I am sure that you will find this year exceptional in every way. Our building and playground look great. Our office has been totally renovated. Our faculty is renewed and you will love our new teachers.
If your family is focused on the idea that the summer has ended, encourage them with the thought that a year of new opportunities and a fresh start has begun!
We will build on the foundation of our success and improvements over the last five years. We will emphasize that our students follow and grow in our Catholic Faith, do their best every day, always treat everyone with respect, and be as well-behaved as they have ever been.
In particular, for upper school students, we will correct the problem of cell phone use during the day and encourage them to be the best role models they can be for our younger students. Regarding my handling of misbehavior, I will take a more counseling-oriented approach and expect to increase our consistency with appropriate consequences. I expect that our students will learn from poor choices and that happiness and joy will eventually be experienced by making good choices.
Other news includes:
• we will continue to improve our approach to Catholic Classical education;
• our Little Lights after school program will begin on Monday, September 11, and you will receive program information soon;
• our students will enjoy some cosmetic and safety improvements to our playground;
• some classrooms have been repainted.
